Katrina Scott is a wellness entrepreneur, a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, and a busy mom. Like many women, the Tone It Up Co-Founder had a long list of priorities, and often found herself at the bottom of the list.  “I think in life we get so busy we forget to take care of ourselves, and that includes the space around us,” she says. “But I finally realized I need to make time to make my space my own. I’ve been following Pure Salt on Instagram for so long and always thought, ‘Someday I’m going to have them design my home!’ – and I finally decided to reach out!”

The designers behind Pure Salt Interiors, Aly Morford and Leigh Lincoln, were the perfect pair for the job, bringing personal details to the forefront for the Katrina and her growing family. One example: Katrina is currently undergoing fertility treatment, which can cause hormonal fluctuations and swelling, but she still walked the SI Swim runway…serving up major inspiration and body positivity for women everywhere. To honor this moment, Aly and Leigh framed the swimsuit.

Coincidentally, it wasn’t the first time Katrina and Aly had crossed paths. Before launching Pure Salt, Aly had a successful career as a florist and did all the flowers for Katrina’s wedding! With a smile, Katrina says “Aly was part of the top two most important moments of my life.”

In the slideshow, Katrina, Aly, and Leigh share their five favorite details from the project.
