This year, I took on the challenge of “finishing” my Los Angeles home. When my husband and I first moved here, I worked with Haley Weidenbaum of Homepolish to whip the common areas into shape quickly. But once we finished the living room, I stopped decorating. Our bedroom ended up as a dumping ground for random furniture and decor — not to mention a window behind the bed that was a major eyesore. (It’s eye level with the neighbor’s driveway!) After we lived in the home for another year or so, I was able to figure out how we used each space and what I needed to do to make it work — both visually and functionally — for us.

I recently shared the completed project with my friends at The Everygirl

, showing off the “big reveal” which included some major changes (a new sofa from Interior Define

!) and some minor ones (we moved all the art around). I thought it’d be fun to offer a virtual tour of my home here, plus include a few pieces that I feel make the space. Start the slideshow!
