Kohler Co.—one of the global leaders in kitchen and bath design—has an incredible, art-forward campaign in partnership with Flamingo Estate.

If you’re not familiar, Flamingo Estate is a luxury lifestyle brand, centered around Richard Christiansen’s otherworldly hillside property in Los Angeles. “Flamingo Estate is my home and garden, but it’s more than that,” Richard explained in a press release. “It’s a philosophy that champions slow ways and ancient rituals. The garden offered us a generous palette and it started with a canvas of a thousand greens. Each of these greens has something to say and we want to hear their stories.”

It was the perfect brand partnership for Kohler, which has recently relaunched three green hues as part of the Heritage Colors collection—Fresh Green, Aspen Green, and Teal, all pulled from the Kohler archives and chosen for their connection to nature and well-being. When placed on modern pieces, and photographed at the estate, magic happens.

“Kohler shares a lot of the same values, curiosities, and things that we love and cultivate at Flamingo Estate,” Richard said. “We care deeply about quality, and about time, texture, and attention to detail. Working with Kohler and the entire team was an amazing opportunity to harness the personality of the estate and embrace the joy of bringing nature into our world.”

The campaign is fittingly titled “From Green, Beauty Blooms,” and was inspired by original marketing of the colors from the ‘70s and ‘80s. They enlisted Original Kids and Théo de Gueltzl to help capture the concept with artistic video and photography shot on location. “We have a passion for designing products to help people bring their creative visions to life,” said Anthony Reeves, VP-Global Creative at Kohler. “The natural landscape and lush gardens of Flamingo Estate evoke a sense of calm and well-being that resonate throughout the stories we crafted together.”

Last month, Richard opened the doors to the estate for an intimate dinner celebrating the partnership. Guests were able to explore the property, enjoy a true farm-to-table meal, and connect over a love of great design and living beautifully. See more in the slideshow and experience the campaign here.
