Ariel Kaye launched Parachute to “bring more comfort to your world through premium, accessible essentials.” She began with bedding before moving into other key home categories: bath, decor and accessories, robes and loungewear, even a mattress. However, the addition of furniture marks their biggest launch yet.
The three upholstered bed frames are inspired by Los Angeles, where the brand is based. Each piece is handmade in the U.S.A. and features quality craftsmanship: fully padded hardwood frames, reinforced joinery and tailored upholstery. Each frame is easily customizable thanks to a plethora of upholstery options like a Linen Cotton Blend (available in Charcoal, Oyster, or Oatmeal), a Washed Linen (in Natural, Light Grey, or Cream), or a cozy faux shearling “Sherpa” fabric–our favorite of the range.
“We set out to create a line of design-driven pieces that will elevate and complete the look of every bedroom,” Ariel told us. “We wanted to share what we do best – textiles – so we knew that an upholstered collection was the perfect starting point. Our inspiration came from our home state of California with our in-house team mimicking the curves of Laurel Canyon, the sun setting over the ocean and the sand dunes of the Mojave desert.”
The beds start at $1,800 and are available at parachutehome.com.
