These days we’re trying to put the Serenity Prayer into practice: “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.” During these very difficult times, it is challenging to manage the varying waves of emotions that come over us – a sense of powerless takes over us over those things that we can’t do much about. But our homes can be a sanctuary for us during these turbulent times. A place of peace.
We’ve reached out to Aly Morford and Leigh Lincoln of Pure Salt Interiors, whose work we’ve featured in numerous articles here at Rue, to offer up some tips on how to make our homes a place of peace. Their solution? The four C’s: Change, Control, Clean, and Calm. Check out our slideshow to see just how to implement them.
