With bars & restaurants closed in most places for the foreseeable future, it’s time to bring the party home! Whether you prefer red, white, or rosé, there are some great wines you should try!

  1. Brown Estate Betelgeuse Rosé: This popular California wine tastes like summer. Notes of “ripe summer stone fruit, wild strawberry, cherry, guava, kiwi, and watermelon” make it super light and easy to drink. It pairs well with seafood so snag a bottle for your next clambake!
  2. Las Jaras Wines Glou Glou: It’s possible this is our favorite bottle on the list. It’s a light and fresh red wine that’s best served chilled and is super refreshing. (Yep, red wine can be refreshing!)
  3. The Prisoner Saldo: This velvety Zinfandel is quite rich, with “bold aromas of black licorice, black pepper, cherry, and baking spice.” It’s fantastic for an evening in with a great charcuterie board.
  4. The Prisoner Eternally Silenced: A delightful Pinot Noir in a very cool bottle. It has flavors of “pine needles, cranberry, dark cherry, cedar, clove, and brown spice,” and it’s quite balanced. Serve with a savory mushroom or salmon risotto and you’ll never know you’re not actually in wine country.
  5. Très Chic Rosé: This light rosé is, simply put, a lot of fun! It’s a Provence-style rosé, so quite delicate, and best served poolside. (No pool? Blow up a kiddie pool, close your eyes, and imagine you’re in France.)
  6. Brown Estate Chardonnay: The only white wine on the list, and for good reason — it’s absolutely fantastic. It’s really silky and has a lovely floral flavor. It tastes like summer!
  7. Bichi Pet Mex: This isn’t your standard summer wine… it comes from a single, dry-farmed, and own-rooted 69-year-old vineyard in just south of the border in Baja, Mexico. The mysterious grape variety remains unidentified, and undergoes a unique wild yeast fermentation process that allows for a light sparkle. The label is quite charming too!
  8. The Prisoner: Napa Valley’s most recognized red blend, The Prisoner incorporates Zinfandel with the unlikely mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Charbono. It has notes of bing cherry, dark chocolate, clove, and roasted fig, and is the ideal way to wrap up busy day working from home.
  9. La Fête Rosé: La Fête is “a premium rosé wine label geared towards multicultural consumers who have a thirst for life, travel and wine.” They value sustainability and giving back to the community. Portions of proceeds from each bottle sold are donated to various programs, sending underserved & underrepresented youth on unique travel experiences that will help them develop new skill sets and grow as global citizens. A drink you can feel good about!
  10. Minuty Prestige Rosé: The lightest rosé on the list, both in color and flavor! It’s a very smooth wine, with soft notes of flowers and melon. It’s a great “lunch wine” and goes really nicely with shrimp or salmon. Bottoms up!
