My husband and I were married in June. As everyone warned us, it felt like time was on fast-forward — the day flew by so quickly that soon, our guests were gone and it was time to head out on our honeymoon. Thanks to our wedding hashtag, we were able to relive the special moments via the Instagram accounts of our friends and family.
With this obsession with imagery, it should come as no surprise that one of our top priorities when planning the day was photography. Dylan M. Howell and Sara K. Byrne were our first choice, and they captured the day perfectly. When we received our images back from them, I was so enamored with every picture. I cried no less than 5 times as I clicked through the 1000+ pictures they snapped.
Then, the panic set in. How could I preserve these pictures? How could I prevent them from forever sitting in a Dropbox folder on my laptop? When Crystal shared her baby book from Preservation & Creation, I knew this was the right choice for me.
The hardest part of the whole process was narrowing down my favorite photos. I carefully clicked through, saving favorites along the way, and uploaded them to Preservation & Creation’s site. The rest was a breeze. To get a closer look at the book and learn about the process, start the slideshow below.
NOTE: Preservation & Creation has just launched Instagram books. You can include images directly from your account. It’s like a hardcopy of a hashtag! Find details here.
