We can all agree that hiring a designer like Nate Berkus would be a dream, right?? His style is approachable, yet entirely enviable, and we’re certifiably obsessed with everything he does. Fortunately, thanks in large part to his collaboration with Target, “hiring” Nate isn’t too far out of reach. His Spring/Summer 2016 Collection will bring his signature style to your home without compromising your budget.

One of the quickest updates you can make to your home is in your bath or powder room, and we spoke with the designer himself to get a little insight. Nate says, “Your bathroom is one of the easiest rooms to give a spring refresh to. It’s all in the details. You want the accessories and décor you bring in to feel luxe.” Of course, it shouldn’t all be aesthetics — you want the space to be organized! He continues, “Decant things like makeup pads, and earbuds, into good looking canisters. And your soap into a stylish soap pump.”

Nate has a fresh solution on the textile front as well. “This season I’m obsessed with the Arrow Dot Shower Curtain in Gold. The metallic accents feel sophisticated while the pattern gives you eye a place to land, without being overwhelming. Add in a new set of towels and a bath mat and it will feel like a whole new bathroom,” he explains. For the towels, Nate suggests the Interlock Stripe Towels, which start at $7.99. “These towels feel decidedly well-travelled…like a pattern you’d see at a local market in Peru or Mexico. They will also add some drama to your bathroom.”

Our favorite piece? The gold vanity mirror. Nate explains, “I love collecting antique vintage mirrors for the wall. I translated that shape into this vanity mirror. The gold makes it feel extra chic.”
