Christie Ward and Staver Gray first met as interior designer students at Parsons School of Design in New York City—bonding over a mutual love for antique lighting and French rattan—and have worked side by side ever since.

The pair first worked for Soho House, helping to develop both commercial and residential interiors for the iconic brand. Three years ago, they struck out on their own, launching design firm Ward + Gray. Known for layered, collected interiors, Christie and Staver have earned international recognition and worked with top hospitality brands.

In 2023, they launched their first product line, a debut rug collection, offering hand-knotted rugs with their unique distressed style. As for what’s next? The duo is always moving forward.
