In the heart of New Orleans, you’ll find Cafe Adelaide & its famous Swizzle Stick Bar. There, bar chef Lu Brow creates sweet, savory, and sentimental cocktails. Today, (with the help of talented photographer Angela Flournoy) she shares the recipe for “Tootsie’s Toddy,” named after a dessert her mother often made around the holidays. Tootsie’s Toddy is warm, aromatic, and the perfect comforting beverage for dealing with the Polar Vortex. Bottoms up!
