When Lyndsey Schwartz got engaged, she knew exactly who would throw her bridal shower. After all Lyndsey is a wedding planner and the co-founder of The Lynden Lane Co, a full-service wedding planning firm that she leads with her sister and mother.

As you can imagine, as a wedding planner who works with both her sister and her mother, Lyndsey has a love for family and design. And so a family heirloom, a set of blue Dresden China pieces from her grandmother’s beloved collection, served as the inspiration for the day’s aesthetic. These pieces of china have quite the history – they were hidden in the family’s French Country home during an invasion in the Second World War and not discovered until 1963!

The thoughtful nods to this china were first seen in the blue and white illustrated shower invitations and the motif continued to be injected into every stunning detail of the bridal shower. As an homage to the French Country, the garden party shower took place at the Studio Herb Garden at The Montage Laguna Beach. Guests, all in white, gathered around a long white-washed farm table with Lyndsey at the head seated on a black vintage peacock chair.
