When we think of “tropical”, it inevitably conjures up images of clear water, palm trees and white beaches. But leave it to one of the most celebrated event planners of Canada, CountDown Events Planning and Design and Crème de la Crème, to reimagine this concept and make it even better. In collaboration with The Four Seasons Resort Maui‘s Executive Chef, Craig Dryhurst, they’ve created a moody, winter-appropriate tropical setting. Lush tropical floral arrangements by Bella Bloom Floral Boutique in burgundy, pink, and dark green are en elegant and unexpected addition to the table.
Chef Craig Dryhurst is a big advocate of the farm-to-table movement. Along with his campaign to create dishes that highlight wellness, he shared three heart of palm recipes with us.
