When Michaela (the designer behind Michaela Noelle Designs and co-owner of The Bloom Workshop) reached out with this gorgeous styled shoot, we were over the moon. The original concept was an intimate vow renewal dinner, but the comfortable, boho vibes make it the perfect inspiration for our Thanksgiving tabletop.

The story behind her inspiration is heartwarming: “We imagine our couple sharing a love for cooking and even having a small farm of their own where they have created fun memories tending to their herbs and veggies, so telling their love story throughout the details of the celebration was very important.” With that concept as the jumping off point, Michaela got to work, using the natural setting that features an open rock garden and towering oak trees to her advantage. Layered vintage rugs, pillows, and cushions in different textures and colors are cozy and autumnal. To make the food the focal point, Michaela used a wispy vine in place of a table runner and added accents of warmer hues seen in the brass candlesticks and soft yellow and orange candles. “The inviting farm-to-table feeling came together just as we’d imagined,” she smiled.

To end the event on a sweet note, a dessert bar features beautiful cakes in front of a greenery-adorned backdrop. It ties together the whimsical elements from outdoors. Start the slideshow to be inspired by the thoughtful details.
