“When it came to accent chairs I changed my mind about 1000 times. Article was so great to work with all my crazy changes! The Noah chairs were the perfect thing to finish off the seating. Gray is so trendy right now + a color I love, so they are for sure a favorite. The seating is all so comfortable while still giving a clean modern look. I love that we have the space to accommodate not just our people, but also to be able to host our extended family + friends.”

“I wanted it to be a place where my people wanted to come together and just talk about their days. Since it is a statement area of our home, I also wanted it to reflect our modern + unique design aesthetic.”

“The coffee table, end tables, + rug (that I’m OBSESSED with) all came from AllModern. They really pull everything together. I love that the rug brings warmth to the space without being too harsh. These fun pillows from Tonic Living and fiddle leaf fig from New Growth Designs with the textured baskets from Serena & Lily were the perfect final touch that created the cohesive + cozy space we were looking for.”

“Another favorite part of the kitchen + dining room is the seating options. I knew I wanted a big island to prep food on, but also to have a bar area. I love that it is big enough that we can stick the babies chairs on the island so they are right in the action with us!”

“The little people love being on these stools right up at the bar to help with food prep or even for homework! Greta DeParry, who designs + makes them is incredible. She is a welder (honestly I don’t think I know another woman that welds) + first time mom herself! Every single thing she makes is by hand, and the quality is out of this world!”

“Heading downstairs, you are greeted by a large open great room, again lined with huge windows to bring in that light, as well as gorgeous warm Alta Vista Laguna Oak wood Hallmark Floors from Specialty Flooring and Design. The floors are durable, timeless and will last through the years. They make such huge difference in the look and feel in our basement. When you think of a basement, I think we all tend to think dark…dreary…blah. Haha. Those are all words I DID NOT want to describe our space. We love snuggling up for a movie night as a family. It is no secret that we aren’t exactly a small family. We wanted a couch that could fit alllll of us on it comfortably. I instantly fell in love with this sectional from Rove Concepts the second I saw it. It was huge and I could picture all my people on it together.”

“Unlike some basements, ours is a walkout basement, which gave us the opportunity to have HUGE windows. They bring in so much life and light to the space keeping it far from dark and dreary. When we are ready for movie night and need it nice and dark, we can just quickly have the auto shades down and it transforms the space.”

“I’m so happy that our basement has really become somewhere we love to gather both as our family, and with extended family + friends over!”

“We love love love having family around us as much as possible. We wanted them to be able to have a space to call their own and really feel welcome in. I actually didn’t really have a vision for this space, so I really reached out to my close friend and designer, Ashley, for some guidance. As we put the design together, I really wanted to keep it inviting but a blank slate for guests to kind of make their own.”

“We had such success with Bed, Bath & Beyond in the Master, that we decided they’d have a great selection of everything for this room too! They had so many stylish unique options to choose from for both furniture + decor! It made putting the space together fun!”

“I loved that it was basically a one stop shop for the whole room making things super easy! Everything from the bedding, Scott Living nightstand, lighting, storage, pillows, and accessories. One of my favorite spots in the room is the little sitting area. The chair is so cozy and it adds to the inviting homey feel of the space. I love the way the statement art from Minted brings in such a fun pop to a clean slate design.”

“We were concerned about having such big windows in the master bedroom for both privacy + too much light when sleeping, but thanks to our auto shades from Park City Blinds, we can quickly transform the space. They have really been SUCH a game changer and they were so great to work with!”

“Also on the main floor is our home office. When we were designing our house plans, we did not want any wasted space. A lot of house plans we looked at had a formal dining room or additional living room on the main floor. We just didn’t see our family using those. We decided the best use of space would be a family office. The windows bring in amazing light, so it has become one of our favorite spaces in the house!”
