Though the entire 4,150 square-foot home is magnificent, we have our eyes on the heart of the home: a custom designed chef’s kitchen. “The residence represents the duality of our daily life, balancing luxury with a scent of simplicity,” Atelier by Studio Zung shares. The home is built to enhance the sun’s trajectory and maximize light. Neutral materials like custom WoodLife European white oak flooring run throughout the entire home, while marble Cesarstone countertops, backsplashes, and a large island keep the kitchen bright and modern. The design team created bespoke kitchen cabinets (also with European oak), punctuated with modern black hardware.
It’s the appliances by Fisher & Paykel, however, that really pack a punch. The integrated column refrigerator, integrated column freezer, and two fully integrated DishDrawer™ dishwashers have custom panel doors, so there are no distractions from the sleek design. (And for entertaining with ease, the CoolDrawer™ wine and beverage drawer cooler is ready to be stocked with beverages and snacks.) The showstopper is the 6-burner freestanding range with integrated industrial-grade vented hood, adding a bit of classic contrast to the otherwise streamlined space.
The entire kitchen is a lesson in making the most of every square foot. By hiding away highly functional appliances, visual clutter is at a minimum, allowing the ocean view outside to take center stage. Take a peek in the slideshow!
