“The entry is every home is a high traffic spot. For us it means lots of little feet coming in and out constantly. I wanted to add interest and make it inviting all while needing functionality and storage. The entry table from Hayneedle has a great shape and allows for storage in two main areas. The table perfectly houses textured storage bins for shoes and smaller wire baskets make it easy to find small items on your way out the door. I added a circular brass mirror with a matching lamp for a warm finish on top of the wooden table.”

“In the living room I knew instantly that I wanted to incorporate a piece of furniture that would match the warmth from the wood floors. We choose to pair together the mid-century, charme tan Nina armchairs from Article.”

I topped the room off with a large scale tree in the corner for height, small scale lamps as well as a standing lamps for additional light, and a contrasting dark wood coffee table.”

“When I designed the kitchen and dining room I kept it simple with white cabinets, grey granite countertops and linear chrome hardware. I love the warmth and character the oak wood floors add to the simplistic, cool color palette of the kitchen.”

“Both kids’ rooms needed to be interesting with a style that will have some longevity as they grow and change. My son loves anything Americana, the outdoors, wolves, and reading. I wanted to capture those interests, so we started with a large statement piece by hanging an American Flag which is the backdrop for his room. I kept with the Americana theme with a striped rug from Rugs USA, a striped euro sham from Bed Bath & Beyond and a deep green canvas duvet from Land of Nod that resembles vintage military uniforms. “Like a lot of little girls, both of mine requested a pink bedroom.”

“To give them their dream room that would not require the typical can of pink paint on the walls I started instead with a saturated, bold, pink rug from Rugs USA. I then added in luxurious pink upholstered headboards from Joss and Main, kept the bedding neutral in all white from Land of Nod and added organic, eco-friendly plush mattresses from Saatva. I wanted to add in another color that would complement and not clash with the pink and white elements in the room. “In the master bath I kept a grey and white theme to make for a cohesive transition from the bedroom to the bathroom. I added luxurious grey turkish towels from Tonic Living, showcasing them on a storage ladder for style and functionality. Final details of practical small storage, accessories, trays, candles and fresh flowers on the countertop make for the perfect master bath.”

“The shower tile choice was ceramic porcelain tile that mimicked the look of marble without exceeding our budget. The 24×24” tiles were laid vertical for a grand, modern look. I upgraded the whole look with an all glass shower door enclosure.”

“My studio office needed to have a large workspace and be a place for clients and team members to sit. We started with the perfect large desk from Mathis Brothers in dark wood finish for contrast against the white walls.
