Known for their modern, European inspired kitchen accessories, etúHOME has become a favorite of the design world. They take utilitarian objects and transform them into modern heirlooms — think hand carved kitchen accents and hand blown glass vessels that stand the test of the endless trend cycle. Founder Stacy Borocz created the company to bring “a life well lived” to the market, and is now bringing that ethos to Atlanta full time! Their flagship store has just opened at the Shops Around Lenox in Buckhead. The 1,300 square foot store, located at 3400 Around Lenox Drive, showcases the world of etúHOME. Stacy tells us more:
Tell us a little bit about the store. What can customers expect when they visit?
The store was designed to look and feel like your best friend’s gorgeous kitchen. A place where you will always feel welcomed and at home. We want the store to serve as a destination to escape and be inspired on the art of entertaining well. The design of the store allows us to do what we love the most- entertain. Customers can expect to see our product styled in a true lifestyle setting and in a way they can envision it within their own homes. The store is layered with our core product line of hand carved wooden cutting boards, charcuterie boards and farm table planks as well as our signature hand blown glass vessels and infused in scent with our wonderful collection of cuisine candles from Grasse, France that will change seasonally. Additionally the store will feature some of our one of a kind “found” items that we bring over every month from Europe. In a nutshell, the store is a haven for the entertaining enthusiast.
How did you decide on a location for your first store?
Since we are based in Atlanta, it was a natural decision for us to open our first signature store in our home town. We love the energy of this city and in Buckhead in particular. Our store is located in the prestigious Shops Around Lenox as we feel this neighborhood attracts our core demographic. Next month we will open our second store in our other hometown, Budapest, Hungary. So exciting news for us on two continents.
How does the design of the store differ from your trade show market showrooms, if at all?
The store focuses on the true essence of etuHOME which means it’s all about the classically rooted European Kitchen and elevated entertaining at its best. It’s a significantly smaller scale than our tradeshow floor and features our bestselling pieces in an understandable environment that the etuHOME customer can easily emulate at home. We have also sprinkled the kitchen with our favorite French foods, fresh spices, organic mustards and other condiments, sweeties and bonbons from all over Europe. Not to be missed is the Olfactory experience our candle bar generates, overflowing with vintage European Apothecary elements.
