From books, to table top, to a new skin-care device, these 9 items are a sure bet.

Serax is a Belgian brand that has so many modern and elegant pieces for your table. The plates are a collaboration with one of my favorite design houses based in Holland, Piet Boon. They have a delicacy and simplicity that make them so elegant and perfect to present your salads or homemade dishes in a 2* Michelin way.

The serve-ware have a modern rustic feel and are great for serving cooked vegetables or stews. Each one has a hand-made feel that I loved, and was excited to add to my kitchenware collection.

In a digital era, it’s wonderful to have access to printed inspiration. As a Market Editor I often have to come up with new trends, detect design patterns, and keep an eye out for what is fresh. To get some new ideas, to see things differently, I look at books like “Painting Beyond Pollock” to freshen up on my art history. Modern art has truly impacted contemporary design so it’s always good to read up on it.

I have always been a fan of Diptyque candles, and especially the Baies (or berries in English) scent. It’s the kind of candle that everyone who walks into my home loves. The black glass container is a new edition for them, a great option for an alluring night-time glow.

I am hitting 30 in just a couple of months, and for the past year or so I’ve been skin-care crazy. Taking care of your skin, versus piling on the makeup is a definite new beauty trend for the next few years. Foreo is a Swedish company that has come up with this genius exfoliating product: Luna 2. Made of silicone, this cleansing brush is anti-bacterial (so you can actually keep it properly clean) and is said to get rid of up to 99.5% of dirt and oil. I’ve used it every other day with my normal skin care routine, and it has definitely enhanced the effectiveness of the products that I typically use.

These mirrored sunnies are from & Other Stories. I am a self-proclaimed forgetful person, so I love that their sunglasses run anywhere from $19 to $85. That way if I leave them at the beach, I won’t have to shell out a bunch of cash for another pair. Don’t worry- they are UV protectant!

“Vegetables from an Italian Garden” is one of my favorite recipe books I have ever had. As a person that loves food with lots of flavor, sometimes it’s hard to get creative with vegetables. This book has tons of options, organized by season (something we should all start to be more conscious of).
