Well folks, the long holiday weekend is here! We hope you’re reading this with a glass of rosé or sweet tea in hand. Our team is excited for some downtime and maybe even a hot dog or two. From summer recipes to fun fashion finds, here are a few things that inspired us this week:

— The inimitable Justina Blakeney has partnered with Keds, bringing her signature Jungalow vibes to the iconic sneaker brand. The sneakers are $65 and 100% of net proceeds are going to GirlTrek, a public health and self-care movement for Black women. Snag a pair here.

— While intimate indoor dinner parties are currently off the table, socially distant picnics are all the rage! Austin Rug Co. just launched something that will make your picnic comfy and cute: the büyü mat. It combines leather straps with a colorful Turkish rug, so you can easily tote it to the park or your best friend’s backyard.

— A new digital home furnishing platform is here! The Landing empowers users to design their homes from inspiration to execution. They provide the set of tools needed to create interactive and collaborative mood boards. They’ve got a curated selection of brands to shop from (like Burrow, Inside Weather, Snowe, Revival Rugs and Dims) and a hassle-free order and delivery process. The Landing has also committed to the 15% pledge: 15% of brands available on the platform will be Black-owned businesses by the end of the year.

— Fire up the grill! Here’s a great list of 19 surprising grilled food ideas.

— Over on Lonny, tour a funky suburban home that is anything but cookie-cutter. We especially love the unique wall art and the serene, oversized kitchen.

— Finally, our friend Danny Seo is giving us a peek inside David Engelhardt’s latest book, The Art of the Garden. BONUS: there’s a recipe for a fantastic botanical martini. Cheers!
