If you asked us back in 2019 how 2020 would be, most would have predicted it to be a normal year. Wow, that certainly isn’t the case! COVID-19 has disrupted our lives, both personally and professionally. In our work-lives, we have seen major shifts in consumer trends but most notably in how we carry out our professional tasks. It has been a test for many on how adaptable they are, providing an opportunity for some to rise despite the difficulties.

We’re adamant in keeping up with how the design industry is adjusting, taking in lessons-learned, and seeing how designers, shop-owners, and brands alike are implementing innovative strategies. We sat down with Justin Williams, Principal Designer at Trademark Design Co., J. Douglas Self Jr., Principal and Founder of J. Douglas, and Cecil Adams, Creative Director of Currey & Company to see how they’ve been adjusting and how the upcoming Atlanta Market at AmericasMart (from the 13th to 18th of August) is crucial to staying on top.
