We wanted to know a bit more about the brand, and recently sat down with Hilde (virtually, of course!) to learn more:
Tell us about the company’s history. How did Pom Pom begin?
Pom Pom at Home was derived from the earlier successful Pom Pom Interiors which had retail locations scattered throughout Los Angeles since its inception in 1991. Pom Pom at Home started out of my love for linens and continued to develop and grow creating what it is today.
How would you describe the “Pom Pom at Home” aesthetic and lifestyle?
Our “lived-in” elegant look is what we are known for and has continued to evolve over the years. Our aesthetic is more than just one thing to those who know us. We are elegant but comfortable, natural but modern, soothing but crisp.
Texture is a big part of who we are. We encourage layering different natural materials such as linen, cotton, and bamboo to create depth in a space. Our products are intended to be used in any type of home whether it’s a romantic house in California or a modern loft in New York.
What makes your linens different? How does Pom Pom at Home stand out from others on the market?
We are known for hand-loomed products that use high-quality, sustainably sourced materials with unique attention to detail. We offer more than just bedding, our line includes everything from beautiful duvets, to decorative pillows, throws, tabletop linens and even rugs that can lighten a space and bring in a touch of elegance. All of our collections use an underlying soothing color palette that allows the customer to combine pieces and create their desired look.
Do you have any favorites or must-haves right now?
We recently introduced our new indoor/outdoor Veranda Handwoven Rug. It is perfect for summertime and feels really soft on your feet. Also, I always love a cotton throw, it can be great for outdoor living or to layer on your bed, some of my favorites include our new cotton Isla Oversized Throw, Kelsey Oversized Throw, Jayden Oversized Throw and the Jasper Oversized Throw.
