Only a week left until AmericasMart kicks off and we’re already excited. From the kitchen demonstrations by highly renowned chefs, to big name speakers like the Novogratz, to a great selection of showrooms to visit, it’s definitely one of the shows we most look forward to attending. Not to mention that Atlanta brings it hard.
Since we hope to see you there, we thought we’d share our itinerary. Hopefully our paths will cross, and if you can’t make it this time, follow us on Instagram!
January 12th
Our first stop will be to see the Diamonds of Design exhibit in the Vignette Gallery. To find out more about what these vignettes are all about, here’s last week’s article.
As big foodies, there’s not a chance that we’d miss the Cajun Creations + Cocktails demonstration. Chef Cooper Miller of Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall and Mixologist at Venkman’s Stephanie Marville will be showing us some Southern recipes that we can try back at home.
But, we’ll have to leave early because our own Managing Editor, Kelli Lamb, is hosting a discussion with none other than the Novogratz about their new book, and bringing a boutique experience in your home.
By then, a cocktail will be in order–we’ll be joining in on Fab Five at 5, to see what Linley+Lauren from LP2 have selected as their decor picks in the new Lighting + Decor Lounge.

Beginning our day with visits to our favorite brands’ showrooms, we’ll be scouting out new trends in furniture and decor.
We’re big fans of Thom Filicia which is why we wouldn’t miss his panel discussion, along with interior designer Genevieve Gorder, on outdoor spaces.
We couldn’t go very long without thinking about food, so naturally our next stop is at the Fiesta Dinnerware Demonstration Kitchen to see Nathan Turner and Julia Reed talk entertaining and design, along with guest appearances and cocktails.
Finally, we’re excited to attend the Diamonds of Design Cocktail Party to celebrate AmericasMart’s 60 year anniversary. You can RSVP here!

Besides touring more showrooms, we’re intrigued by a panel discussion about “What Men Want”. No, panelists Mathew Quinn, Phil Sanders and others, are not going to divulge the secrets of the male psyche. If only! But they will talk to us about trends in the market catered to men as well as what the future holds for male consumers.
We’ll then be headed back to our hotel for a team dinner and drinks to say goodbye to Atlanta and AmericasMart until the summer.
