Caitlin (of Caitlin Wilson Textiles) has shown us how to style a bed in the past, and today’s she’s back to tackle our second-favorite place to take a nap- the sofa! Starting with a simple, tufted white sofa and her colorful British Bouquet Rug, Caitlin swapped in her pillows, plus art and accessories, for four distinctive looks.
URBAN ECLECTIC: Starting with a multi colored rug creates cohesive base to layer on more funky details. To keep the bold vibe, use simple but interesting artwork in minimal frames, clean lined furniture, and pillows with personality. This look is perfect for mixing prints.
COASTAL CHIC: Graphic patterns- including the cheeky anchor pattern in the pillows and traditional blue and white stripes- plus sea-side accessories like the coral and themed wall decor combine to create a fabulously beachy palette. The coral and floral rug keep the room from going full on ahoy-matey.
MODERN GLAM: Gold and black make such a nice contrast to the white couch, while the curved pattern on the coffee table complements the patterned pillows. Since gold isn’t quite a color, layer in jewel tones for a bit of interest and you have the perfect modern glam living room.
TRADITIONAL WITH A TWIST: There is nothing wrong with loving tradition, but to freshen up your space pair your timeless pieces with pops of color. Feminine florals and unexpected hues of blue, mint, coral, and berry give it an instant update. Plus a white lamp with modern lines to really create a twist.

It looks like the bookshelf might be the Reflections Bookcase from Home Decorators Collection. http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Reflections-Bookcase/00/410/ 🙂
