Unless you want your bathroom to look like a stuffy hotel — or worse, a college dorm — there just aren’t many stylish options for bath accessories. Brooklyn-based husband and wife team, Lisa and Michael Fine, took note of this and set out to bring fashion forward shower curtains and bath rugs to the market with their new company, Quiet Town. (Goodbye, cheap-o plastic curtains and rugs that look a little too reminiscent of the Golden Girls’ house.)

Why the focus on the restroom? As they explain it, “At Quiet Town, we understand the bathroom is where some of you do your best thinking. For others, it’s the only place you can be alone.” (Hence the name, Quiet Town.) “Either way, we can all agree that your bathroom should feel like an extension of the rest of your home, not an extended-stay hotel chain.”

With an on-trend color palette (think soft neutrals alongside a pop of color) and luxe details, these are pieces that will stand the test of time — both materially and aesthetically. Shower curtains are crafted with 100% GOTS certified organic cotton canvas and accented with turkish brass rings. The bath rugs are hand-woven at a REACH factory in India, and honestly look more like something you’d find in a well-curated living room than the loo.
