We often get the question of how to mix vintage and modern pieces for a seamlessly personalized look. It seems as though this something that every great home feature achieves perfectly but when it comes to our own stuff, it’s a bit less obvious than we originally thought. Maybe that dresser you inherited is gorgeous but it seems a little out of place with your west elm purchases.
As much as it is possible to just stick furniture of different eras together and make it work (the easiest place to do this is with a dining table and chairs), you might have to do a bit of blending to get it to look more natural.
