Last week, we shared our excitement for the best decor event of the year – High Point! (In case you don’t know, High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, and brings more than 75,000 people to High Point, North Carolina every six months.) We showed off what we’re most excited to see, but that was before we got an exclusive preview via High Point’s Twitter Chat! Tastemakers revealed their top picks during the hour long chat, and we left with a lengthy wish list:

Lisa Ferguson picked this graphic pillow (made with silk and velvet) by Piper Collection, proving that things are going to get a little bolder in the design world.

-The gals of PULP Design took the velvet trend to the next level, sharing a vibrant orange chair with brass accents from Worlds Away. Wouldn’t a set look stunning around a conference table??

-Speaking of the office, this desk (chosen by designer Jennifer Brouer) is to die for. By Bungalow 5, it features gold leaf, leather, and mahogany.

-Designer Kati Greene Curtis shares our love for Dunes & Duchess, showing off their Pier Table. The detail is exquisite, namely the unexpected marble top!

Erica Islas, of EMI Interior Design, had a “drop the mic” moment when she tweeted this immaculate sideboard by Boca do Lobo. We can’t wait to see it up close!

Lisa Kahn kept things ethereal, sharing Nate Ricketts’ selenite wing. While the piece is dreamy, we’d love to see the contrast of it in a dark & moody bedroom.

After the chat, we got to poking around on Pinterest and found a few favorites of our own. (Namely, a bright peacock headboard and a crazy-cool fire pit.) Start the slideshow to access details on our favorites!!

Take notes so you can check the pieces out in person once you arrive at High Point, which runs April 18-23. Will we see you there?
