Twice a year, Team Rue meets in High Point, North Carolina for the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world- High Point Market! Last week, we participated in a Twitter Chat (you can view the recap here) to get a sneak peek at what’s new & noteworthy for fall market. Since we like to dream about our trip well in advance, we’ve turned to the Twitter Chat Preview Board on HPmkt’s Pinterest to get an idea of what we can expect… and get a jump start on our wish lists. Today, our editors share what they’re most excited to see:

Crystal, Editor in Chief:
1. Natural Curiosities, Daedalus Daedalus: “I am always blown away by the art Natural Curiosities shows at High Point. It’s always sophisticated and has a distinct point of view. I can’t wait to see this gilded piece in person!”
2. Howard Elliot, Silas Mirror: “Mirrors might possibly be my favorite accessory to play with in a room, and this convex is calling my name. I love the play on scale here – small mirror on the inside, and thick border on the outside.”
3. Hudson, Burlwood Veneer Cabinet: “The beautiful burl wood is what initially caught my eye with this piece. The natural finish paired with the glam brass hardware makes it irresistibly versatile and gorgeous.”

Victoria, Style Editor:
1. Arroyo Craftsman, Pendant: “This lamp would be perfect for a front porch. It has a classic shape with a slight edge to it.”
2. Lisbon, The Modular Cocktail/Occasional Tables: “When so much has been done, it’s hard to do something that feels fresh. I know that when I go to Hight Point I will see something like these tables that are complete show stoppers for their unexpected finish.”
3. Jaxon by Victoria Richter, Skyline Chair: “This chair feels straight out of a ‘60s movie set. I love to see pieces that have a vintage feel with an updated look.”

Kelli, Associate Editor:
1. Noir, Giza Dresser: “I tend to gravitate towards white furniture, but prefer things that have a little character. With gorgeous geometric accents and an interesting texture, this is one piece that won’t fall flat, and it’s at the top of my must-see list.”
2. Jaxon by Victoria Ricther, Gunnison Chair in Himalayan Shearling: “This chair make a strong statement, but would look right at home in a neutral space. It perfectly blends two worlds together! Plus, I am crazy about anything shearling. How cozy would this be in a reading nook?”
3. Loloi Rugs, Pearl Collection: “My design style is really rooted in building rooms around great rugs. I have been admiring the Pearl Collection from Loloi for some time, and am anxious to see it in person.”

Mandy, Publisher:
1. Thumbprints, Simone Floor Lamp: “What an interesting look for a floor lamp! This is a must see for me!”
2. Lee Industries, Chair: “The mix of leather and linen with that fun stitching on this perfectly sized chair.”
3. Loloi Rugs: “Geometrics are adding a punch to living rooms this season and this rug has texture and spot on color. I just know it is going to be a stunner when I see it in person.”
