Interior design has been moving towards bringing nature in. That means rawer finishes, unusual natural materials and, most notably, plants inside the home. So far in the plant department, we’ve seen the popularity of fiddle leaf fig trees take off! And although we love this tree it’s nice to see something else start to steal the spotlight: olive trees and branches have a more subtler look because of the smaller grayish green leaves. The best thing about it is that it works in so many ways – from more traditional spaces of plaster and crown mouldings to the hippy vibe of an all white Grecian style home, to the eclectic California style that mixes mid-century modern with happy colors and craft furniture.
