1. My Design Style: Tailored elegance with a sense of whimsy. These qualities allow me to create contemporary spaces with a sense of history and homeyness.
2. I am attending High Point because… I attend Highpoint every year to find the latest in styles and keep in touch with existing vendors. I can source everything from contemporary upholstery to antique mirrors and everything in between. 
3. Piece that I am dying to See: Katy Skelton Collection’s Camp Bench.
4. Dream Project Where I’d Include this Piece: I’d love to use this piece in a weekend house in the country. A primitive farmhouse with clean, simple, contemporary pieces that allow the character of the imperfect home to shine. This piece in a long hall or in front of floor to ceiling windows overlooking a wheat field with a path to the ocean…….. 

Courtney Lake, Interior Designer of Monogram Decor

1. My Design Style:  I am a creature of my upbringing.  While I was not born on the West Coast, I consider California where I “grew up” design-wise.  I love the laid-back louche aesthetic with a touch of luxe whimsy whether it be in a piece of art or a fabric mix.  My goal is make the client smile every time they enter into a room.
2. I am attending High Point because… I will be attending market because it’s one of the few times a year where I can browse new products quickly, meet with vendors and reconnect with colleagues in a matter of days.  It’s my idea of “speed shopping”!
3. Piece I am Dying To See: The mahogany chest of drawers from  Sterling-Diamond.  The geometric design elevates the piece from being mundane but the craftsmanship from the mitered corners to the brass hardware are perfect for a dose of modernism in a room. 
4.  Dream Project Where I’d Include this Piece: against a modern floral wallpaper, it could be a beautiful juxtaposition and focal point.

Beth Dotolo, Interior Designer of Pulp Design Studios

1. My Design Style: My personal style and my firm, Pulp Design Studios, style is modern, dynamic, and infused with a flair for the unexpected. 
2. I am attending High Point because… it’s a great place to get a tangible experience with so many products. We get to sit in, touch, and experience all the products we use in our designs so that our client’s can put trust in us to know that we are bringing them quality pieces. And, of course, to get a first eye on all the fresh new designs before they hit the market! 
3. Piece I am Dying To See: I am dying to see the the B. Pila Pick Me Up Swing! They had me at swing. But, throw in the acrylic and champagne tibetan lambs wool and I’m completely swooning! 
4. Dream Project Where I’d Include this Piece: I would love to use this for a client in a living room for a super swanky family, who doesn’t feel that style needs to wait for the kids to grow up. 

Kati Curtis, Interior Designer at Kati Curtis Design

1. My Design Style: My personal design style is classic with a global influence. We’re based in Manhattan and Los Angeles – so my work highlights the sophistication of New York with the flavor, and just a twist, of California.
2. I am attending High Point because… I’m attending High Point because It’s the hub for everything that’s new and and exciting in design. We need to be there to be on top of the new introductions so that we can bring our clients the latest and greatest finds in order to create the most unique and exciting spaces. I also love catching up with fellow designers and a lot of my friends.  It’s great!  We get to fill each other in on projects we’ve worked on, give each other ideas about things we’re currently working on, it’s just so much fun…
3. Piece I am Dying To See:  The Andorra Console Table by Bernhardt
4. Dream Project Where I’d Include this Piece: I would use this piece in the entryway of a new high-rise apartment (perhaps at 430 Park Avenue) with incredible city and Central Park views. The lines mimic the nuances of the City below and that exquisite German silver finish reflects the sparkle and shine of the city lights.

Lori Gilder, Architectural Interior Designer

1. My Design Style: I’m naturally drawn to clean architectural lines and casually elegant interiors where a more neutral palette of wood varieties blend with multiple textured surfaces and materials to create a comfortable, warm and relaxed California Modern style.
2. I am attending High Point because… Visiting Highpoint is always exciting!  I adore scouting unique one of a kind pieces for clients, learning of new product launches, witnessing the evolution of color and style trends and participating in both social and educational events. There is so much to experience in High Point and staying current and on trend is why our clients hire us…and why I attend.
3. Piece I am Dying To See: Without a doubt I am most excited to see to see the Alfonso Marina Villiers Armoire!
4. Dream Project Where I’d Include this Piece: I’m beginning a new home design project on the Grand Canal in Marina Del Rey, the Villiers Armoire could serve as an ideal bar unit highlighted in the formal living room. Floor to ceiling windows look out on to the canal and the patina’d woodwork would be instantly highlighted by the influx of natural light.

1. My Design Style: I would describe my personal design style as classic contemporary. I love to infuse spaces with a mixture of traditional and contemporary elements, blending simple furniture lines with a few statement pieces. I also love to bring in fabulous yet highly durable fabrics that elevate the design while giving my clients the freedom to actually live in the space.
2. I am attending High Point because… it is the best place for design professionals to learn about the latest trends in home furnishings, see the new introductions and collections, gain inspiration from the artfully designed showrooms, and learn best practices from some of the leaders in the industry via the amazing array of continuing education courses and presentations.
3. Piece I am Dying To See: Caracole’s Extrav-Agate Console in person. 
4. Dream Project Where I’d Include this Piece: I would love to use this piece in a design for a young, urbanite couple who wants to bring in extra storage in an unexpected way.

Michelle Wiebe, Interior Designer at Studio M

1. My Design Style: ‘Happy’. I want to make my clients smile when they are in their home.  We design many coastal residences, so typically they are fresh, crisp, and light – with pops of color!
2. I am attending High Point because… it is hard to believe, but I have attended High Point Market almost every year since I was in college!  (That’s a lot of miles walked!)  It is THE place to see and experience all of the fabulous new collections and styles in the industry.  I typically bring most or all of our design team, and we absolutely have a blast.  (We have SO many hilarious stories!) We shop for all of our clients, definitely get creatively inspired and recharged, attend sensational educational and networking events, and I typically have several speaking engagements which I love to do.
3. Piece I am Dying To See: Truly, truly I can’t wait to see the Christopher Guy “Lievre” chair.  The wood carving looks incredible, and the brass feet add a great touch!
4. Dream Project Where I’d Include this Piece: I would love to do a small series of boutique hotels, and this chair could be fabulous in one of the lobbies!

1. My Design Style: My personal and professional style is Classic, stylish, clean, timeless, pops of color, transitional – somewhat modern, inviting and very edited. I hate clutter, so I select pieces for my clients with detail and texture to speak for themselves.
2. I am attending High Point because… I attend the market to see the latest product offerings and enlarge my vendor portfolio for my clients. I often am shopping for particular pieces when at market and always combing the scene there for exceptional pieces that I can mentally file away for a future project.  I also attend to grow my relationships with vendors and with other designers. I also attend and blog about trends on Chatti Patti Talks Design!
3. Piece I am Dying To See: The Luxe Red Dahlia Cabinet by John-Richard.
4. Dream Project Where I’d Include this Piece: A project I would love to use this piece in, would be a luxury penthouse or condo. I envision a pair of them in a dining area or as a stand alone piece in a living room to use as a bar for entertaining. This project would repeat the Greek Key motif in a subtle way, perhaps on the trim of the drapery panels or in a rug or some pillows.

1. My Design Style: Gracious living, timeless design and family traditions. Color and texture are very important for me, where each room, layer by layer, gives a sense of history and timeless elegance.
2. I am attending High Point because… it is the world’s largest furniture market. If you can’t find it at High Point Market you probably won’t find it anywhere. As a High Point Market Style Spotter, I am looking for what’s new and what’s next. High Point Market is the premier destination for discovering the latest trends in home fashion. I also attend market for the many educational opportunities and networking. I love being able to reconnect with fellow designers and vendors I love.
3. Piece I am Dying To See: I can’t wait to see the Soho Luxe Sideboard by Bernhardt 
4. Dream Project Where I’d Include this Piece: Fortunately, I am working on a dream project where I want to use the Soho luxe sideboard. My client is a young bachelor who is renovating a 6,000 square foot home for the sole purpose of entertaining. He has a modern design aesthetic and appreciates beautiful furniture. The Soho sideboard will be stunning in his dining room.
