As we fully transition into summer we refer to those snapshots of moments past in our lives that brought us happiness. To some, it may be a glistening lake, to others the smell and sound of grass being cut. One of ours is the light golden hue of wheat in the sunlight. It’s one of those sights that also feels tactile, which is why it makes for such a great color for all things interior. Not quite a beige and slightly darker than ivory it serves as a warm neutral that doesn’t just work well in the summertime but also year round. In the warmer months, pair it with crisp whites and grays for a calming nature-inspired space. And in the winter it works beautifully with dark bluish grays, cranberry, and eucalyptus.
