Not quite beige, nor cream, bone is a neutral that exudes sophistication. White walls have surged in popularity since we’re increasingly desiring homes that feel bright and clean. However, in some spaces, stark white walls aren’t the best option. For places that have high ceilings or are a little darker, a color like bone would be a great option to bring in a much-needed dose of warmth. It’s also a great option for foundational furniture pieces like a sofa or armchair, especially in velvets. Finally, accessories in bone, such a coffee table book, blanket or vases work well against other neutrals such as stark white and gray. And if you want to add even more sophistication, punctuate it with a bit of black in the form of a light fixture or artwork.
