“Pick a spot. Set up your computer and all of your gear around you as neatly as you can. And then rummage around for a basket or a bin or a tote where all of your work stuff can “live” at the end of the day. Take the dining room table back! You deserve to eat dinner in this room! And if you have a desk, do yourself a favor and de-clutter so you have room to work. Then follow the dining-room-table rule and make sure everything is put away at the end of the day. When you ‘clock out,’ home should feel like home again.”

“Being quarantined with a toddler is both fun AND tricky, especially working full time! Jasper loves to read and we have been putting his books into baskets sprinkled throughout the house. We have baskets in lots of styles because I love the variety! We also find that everything has turned into a toy. One thing that he recently discovered is his Olli and Ella suitcase (through Karen Alweil) is perfect for transporting his toys and going on walks. We go on walks ALL the time so we don’t feel so cooped up.”
