Born & raised in Austin, Texas, photographer Emily Blincoe is known for her unparalleled skill (and passion) behind the lens. She’s often found snapping a color series on Instagram, shooting beautifully ethereal portraits, or documenting the nitty-gritty Lone Star State. And as they say, everything really IS bigger in Texas- even the simplest moments- which this Austin artist proves in her latest installment for Gap’s Styld-by campaign. With model Kaiman Kazaziana by her side, Emily photographed a casual afternoon at the lake.

Kaiman paired Gap’s 1969 destructed tipped real straight skimmer jeans with a Western snap down shirt for a look that’s lived-in yet fresh; vintage but oh-so-current. With the distressed denim taking the lead, the only beauty regimen you need for this picture-perfect afternoon is some lip balm and natural bohemian waves. And just in case you land somewhere that requires shoes, we suggest Gap’s leather sandals. Of course… no one will judge you if you stay barefoot right until the end of summer.
