Though Brooklyn-based design studio WORKSTEAD is technically headquartered in New York, their beautiful portfolio extends far beyond the Empire State. Most recently, they headed to Oklahoma, where Vintage Wine Bar celebrates the Art Deco movement found in Tulsa’s downtown area.
The cozy wine bar is independently-owned and focuses on supporting boutique wineries from all over the world. For the interiors, WORKSTEAD consulted a handful of design visionaries: local millworker Eric Fransen; Los Angeles-based furniture brand Lawson Fenning, and British wallpaper and paint manufacturer Farrow & Ball for their iconic color, Setting Plaster. Add WORKSTEAD’s Signal lighting collection and you’ve got a recipe for one beautiful space.
The interior features sexy curves, opulent jewel tones, and rich natural materials. Though the space has high contrast — a gorgeous walnut bar alongside those perfectly pink walls — it’s all quite cohesive, which is a WORKSTEAD signature. Needless today, it’s a strong yet comfortable space that begs you to enjoy another round.
