“We wanted to achieve something that felt unique to us,” Becca Tobin says of her home, located in Laurel Canyon — one of Los Angeles’s most iconic neighborhoods. “We also wanted to design in a way that would accentuate all the original charm of the house and not distract from that.” Teaming up with interior design app Hutch and online marketplace Society6, as well as designer Cory McCrummen, the star of Glee and co-host of the LadyGang totally reimagined the space she shares with her husband, Zach Martin.

The full tour of the space is on People (see it here!), including some pretty gnarly before pics. While we adore the home as a whole, one room that caught our eye was the master bedroom. Hutch, which is a virtual staging service, allowed Becca to see what the space would look like ahead of time. “I’m not someone who can envision what something will look like in the space until It’s actually in there, but the app gave me the ability to see everything in the space before we chose it! It also helped me get a little more creative with certain spaces as well,” she explains.

One of our favorite elements in the bright bedroom is the art, a series from Society6 by Explicit Design. “Before the makeover, the art throughout the house was mostly my husbands collection which were more bold and industrial in style,” Becca recalls. “We wanted our home to feel more inviting and retreat-like, so we found some amazing pieces from Society6 that were the perfect fit for our more eclectic bungalow.”

“My husband and I don’t always share the exact same taste, but we eventually figured it out,” Becca laughs. The result is what she calls California eclectic, and totally embodies the Laurel Canyon locale. Take a tour + find products to get the look in the slideshow below!
