Palisociety, Avi Brosh’s independent hotel brand, has award-winning properties across the country, from Melrose to Miami Beach. This year, they’ve officially made their debut in San Francisco.

Palihotel San Francisco is located downtown, quite close to Union Square and not far from the elegant Financial District and eclectic SoMa neighborhood. The bespoke property pulls from its historic roots, and “is a reincarnation of a century-old, Mission and Spanish Revival-style edifice on Stockton Street that has been home to several historic properties since its development, including the Colonial Hotel in the 1920s, the Hotel Navarre in the 1930s, the Navarre Guest House in the 1950s and most recently, the Mystic Hotel.” Style-wise, think vintage charm with a modern aesthetic and tech-forward amenities. There’s plenty of patina, a soft and soothing color palette, and unique accessories — a Palisociety signature.

The 83-room hotel is also home to Fisher Loft, an all-day restaurant and lounge located on the second floor. It’s open to hotel guests and locals alike, and offers nostalgic comfort food and stiff cocktails. There’s also an afternoon tea service with a three-tier selection of finger sandwiches, small pastries and petits fours – perfect fuel for the city’s grueling hills.

However, it’s our opinion that the best part of the hotel might be the value, with rooms starting at just $140 a night. (Unheard of in the area!) Find booking details here.
