If you follow beauty and skincare blogs, you’re probably already familiar with Vintner’s Daughter. We’d say their Active Botanical Serum is a cult classic, but when Vogue, Allure, and goop have all sung your praises, well, you’re no longer underground (and they’ve just launched their second product, Active Treatment Essence.)

But we’re not a beauty blog, so we’re actually interested in a different project from founder April Gargiulo – her curated Chairish sale! Turns out, April’s impeccable standards don’t just apply to ingredient sourcing. She has just a careful eye for interiors.

This is evident in her own 1938 William Wurster home (see it in the slideshow!) She says, “It wasn’t a showy home, but the construction was really superb; incredible. I think this house, as modern as it looks today, it must have looked like a spaceship back in 1938!”

Focusing on the same palette and style as her own home, April has curated a collection for Charish that indulges her love of vintage. She says, “I like pieces that have history. I like the idea of something from an environmental standpoint–not putting new things out into the world and re-using things. I think most of all I like the story–I like patina. I like the construction of vintage.”
