Welcome to Rue’s sixth anniversary issue! With each passing year, I’m newly reminded of how incredibly special this journey has been. For more than a handful of years now, the team and I have enjoyed the great honor of being welcomed into your lives so that we might delight you with inspiration and beauty each day. In turn, you have inspired us tenfold and become our community, our family, and our friends.
As we continue to grow with you, we’re looking forward to all the wonderful things the design world has in store for us. To start, in this issue we’re casting the spotlight on fall’s most sought-after products, chatting with Joanna Gaines about what makes a beautiful life, touring the studio of a familiar face, and visiting a well-traveled designer, Jessie Black to uncover the secrets to her success. While the home tours are each so different in style, they all have one thing in common: intimately reflecting the homeowner’s lifestyle and distinct eye. We’re also excited to open the doors to our very own Style Editor, Victoria de la Camara’s minimalist home in Madrid. She’s long inspired me with her impeccable eye for design and I’m sure you’ll love seeing her space as much as we love sharing it.
Lastly, I know I speak on behalf of the entire team at Rue when I offer my whole-hearted “thank you.” We are so grateful to create for you, year after year, and are honored you’ve granted us that privilege. We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoyed creating it, and that you join us in celebrating another year!
