On November 14, the annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards took place in Los Angeles, CA. The now-iconic ceremony honors inspirational women from politics, entertainment, fashion, and business. Gwen Stefani, Simone Biles, Nadia Murad, and Zendaya were among honorees, while presenters included Tracee Ellis Ross, Mindy Kaling, and Rashida Jones.
Before VIPs hit the stage, they stopped by the Green Room, a fashion-forward space designed by Everything But The House — an online estate sale marketplace. EBTH’s Vice President of Merchandising, Michelle Lee, transformed the room with powerful women in mind. You’ll find the #GlamourWOTY values front and center: a quote from Michelle Obama, books from powerful women, and a gallery wall featuring past honorees.
At only 300 sq ft, the room was once a storage room/garbage space. (What a transformation, right?!) Michelle first found inspiration with a pair of Milo Baughman chairs. By mixing and matching colors, textures, and materials — with the flat-weave Romanian rug, for example — Michelle kept a modern and balanced feel to the room. Light reflected off of the many glass accents, and lucite opened up a bit of visual space. Proof a small space doesn’t have to feel cramped!
And the added bonus? You can shop everything in the Green Room online — and The Girl Project will receive a portion of proceeds from the sale! Shop a few of our favorites in the slideshow, and check out Michelle’s tops for shopping vintage along the way.
