The customer is always right. Well, not always, but St. Frank’s founder, Christina Bryant, credits customer demand for St. Frank’s decision to venture into custom offerings. She says, “This was mainly led by customer feedback in store. Collectors would want one of our fabrics in another size pillow we offer, or they’d ask if the pillow could be double sided with the pattern on both sides. We ultimately can’t offer endless options from a SKU perspective, but we still wanted to be able to meet those special needs and requests, so we started piloting this customization offering in store.”
Since its founding, St. Frank has partnered around with artisans around the world and with their large collection of soft goods, customization made perfect sense. Customization often is an expensive, intimidating, and time-consuming process for the individual, so St. Frank aims to make creating custom pieces for your home simple. To launch the program, they currently offer 25 fabrics to easily design custom pillows, curtains, and lampshades online. Plus, even though they are custom, the pieces arrive within 4-6 weeks! Christina says they plan to expand the custom line over time, “We’ll continue to grow our fabric offering twice a year, so your options in terms of the fabrics you can use to make custom pieces will continue to grow. We’d also love to hear if there are products our customers wish we would introduce within this customization offering.”
