New year, new leaf. This past year has been a great one for design and fashion, opening up new trend periods for newly inspired creations. We particularly loved the fresh color palettes emerging from ’70s design — think muted colors in the warmer tones. One of our favorites — burnt sienna — has so much dimension. It makes us immediately think of volume and texture: so many different materials are connected to this shade, from ceramics to stone and clay. Even though it has been popular for several decades of design, to see it applied in new ways and to new forms gives it new life.
